Joshua Watson of Stearns was arrested on September 29 at approximately 10:50 on Airport Road on a warrant for Burglary 1st Degree and Theft By Unlawful Taking over $300.

Rick Crabtree of Bethel Road was arrested on September 29 at approximately 13:16 at the Sheriff’s Office on an indictment for Theft By Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property over $300.

Steven Phillips of Peyton Hayes Road was arrested on October 1 at approximately 13:28 on a federal warrant.

April L. Thomas of Burnside was arrested on October 1 at approximately 12:57 on Peyton Hayes Road for Hindering Prosecution/Apprehension 2nd Degree.

Lesia L. Bowling of Kidd Cemetery Road was arrested on October 2 at approximately 15:47 on a warrant for Non-Payment of Fines.

Brian E. Clark of Whitley City was arrested on October 2 at approximately 22:54 on US27 in Whitley City on a warrant for Non-Payment of Fines.

Aaron Carlisle Kelly was served with a fugitive warrant from Michigan on October 3 at approximately 9:30 at the McCreary Federal Prison.

Ruby F. Nelson of Veto Smith Road was arrested on October 3 at approximately 12:15 on South Highway 1651 on a fugitive warrant from Tennessee.

James E. Bess of Perkins Lane was arrested on October 4 at approximately 19:09 on Corder Flats Road on a warrant for Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence).

Ryan J. Daugherty of Strunk was arrested on October 5 at approximately 14:10 on US27 in Pine Knot for No/Expired Registration Receipt, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, License to be in Possession, and Failure of Owner to Maintain Insurance.

New Criminal Cases through October 5

On September 26 a resident of Mount Pleasant Road reported a theft. Perpetrator(s) had broken in to a trailer on the property and taken a blue Kobalt tool box containing tools and a checkbook. A case was opened and is under investigation.
